New Plymouth Rubber Spanish Plant Fully Operational Canton, MA November 13, 2007 - Plymouth Rubber Company, LLC recently announced that its new rubber manufacturing facility in Northwestern Spain is now fully operational. The new rubber product manufacturing plant is located in Porriņo, Spain, near Plymouth Rubber Company’s European PVC and textile tape manufacturing facility, Plymouth Rubber Europa. With over 40,000 square feet of manufacturing space, it now includes mixing, calendering, curing and extrusion capabilities, and employs approximately 60 people. It is producing Plymouth Rubber Company’s full rubber product line, including electrical insulating tapes, specialty tapes for telecommunications and mining applications, rubber mastics, calendered rubber, and static dissipative rubber grounding materials.
