| 53 Plyarc® Arc and Fireproofing Tape
Now
available in fiber optic orange.
A 30-mil (0,76mm) unsupported, elastomeric tape that provides excellent flame and arc protection for all types of cables. When exposed to flame, 53 Plyarc will generate a thermally insulating residue for cable protection. Use on cable conduit where added fire protection is required. Unsupported construction offers excellent flexibility and conformability for easy application.

Varnished Dacron®-Glass Tape
61 and 61A
tapes are
composed of Dacron® and glass woven fabric,
impregnated with a high quality, cured, polyester electrical
insulating varnish, providing excellent electrical and
mechanical protection. The tapes are intended for use up to
155°C and have excellent flexibility and elongation. They
conform tightly to irregular shapes and surfaces. 61 is a 7
mil (0,18 mm) tape without adhesive and 61A is an 8 mil (0,20
mm) tape with a thermo acrylic adhesive.

Cohesive Rubber Tape (CR)
A 50-mil (1,3mm) tape with a soft, uncured layer bonded to a cured, abrasion resistant layer. Unique separator allows controlled removal at the user's discretion. An airtight, waterproof, gas-tight seal is formed when the uncured layer is bonded to itself. This meets the Industry Standard for temporary splice coverings on communication and control cables. Maintains gas pressure in pressurized cable. Meets industry specification 7144.

Specifications
Double Rubber Tape (DR)
A 45-mil (1,1mm) non-adhesive, self-bonding communications tape used for critical sealing and re-jacketing. One layer of uncured compound permanently fused to an abrasion resistant layer of cured rubber. Easy-tear separator. Controlled unwind. Full or half-lapped, a strong bond develops between both plies to maintain gas pressure in pressurized cables. Communications Industry DR specifications TL-192 and 6863.
